I suspect that this blog will become a mix and match of whatever might be on my mind at that given time. No flow, to theme, no organization and especially no point! On the other hand, it could become a place in my work life that is organized and well thought out. I'll concentrate on the later and see where this leads. It's kind of exciting in a sense, considering I have no followers yet. Who will read this? What will they think? The possibilities are endless, one thing I know for sure though...this will become very thought provoking.
You see, I'm in the operations side of the trucking industry, and I'm proud of that. I am responsible for a large number of trucks, drivers and their families, and I care about each one of those. I try to balance each drivers home time with their families and the ability they have to make a decent living financially. Their success is part of my responsibility, and I don't take that lightly. None of us should.
How I determine that balance is multifaceted, a lot of schedules, issues and abilities go into that determination. Those are the things I want to talk about here, not about truck driving specifically, but about individuals.
